Bears
Bears HC Matt Nagy defended QB Mitch Trubisky‘s performance against the Patriots, saying “he played better than most people think he played.”
Lions
Lions HC Matt Patricia says that franchise DE Ziggy Ansah is “doing everything he can day by day to get out there and play.”
“Here’s what I’m going to say about the Ziggy conversation, just so I can answer all those questions up front,” Patricia said, via the Detroit Free Press. “Ziggy’s doing everything he can day by day to get out there and play. And when he’s ready to go he’s certainly, he’s someone that we think can help us win.
“And that’s the bottom line, is we’re trying to win. So when we have anybody on our team that will help us win we’ll put them out on the field.”
Packers
- Packers QB Aaron Rodgers said it’s still too early in the week to say whether he’ll no longer use a knee brace. Rodgers did not undergo an MRI during the bye. (Tom Pelissero)
Seahawks
Seahawks HC Pete Carroll told reporters after practice on Monday that S T.J. Green decided he didn’t want to continue playing football any longer, which explains why they placed him on the left squad list.
“He was ready to stop playing football,” Carroll said of Green, via Pro Football Talk. “I don’t know any more about it than that really. He was done playing ball.”
